The community of Jordan, Ontario sits on the banks of Twenty Mile Creek, only one hour from Toronto. The area is home to dozens of wineries. The scenery here is amazing with lush vineyards and exceptional wine-country views. Visitors can enjoy a leisurely hike to the Ball's Falls Heritage Conservation Area which encompasses over 200 acres of scenic natural and built heritage, including two spectacular cataracts on the Niagara Escarpment and the traces of a mid 19th century industrial hamlet. This was one of the first communities along the lower Twenty Mile Creek; a grist mill, lime kiln, a restored church, log cabin and a family home are some of the structures that are open for guided tours.
