The community of Hawkesbury, Ontario is located in Eastern Ontario on the Ottawa River, near the Quebec/Ontario border. It lies on the south shore of the Ottawa River about halfway between downtown Ottawa and downtown Montreal in Prescott and Russell Counties. The Long-Sault Bridge (formerly the Perley Bridge) links it to Grenville, Quebec, to the north. It's located 25 km west of Lachute, Quebec. Hawkesbury is touted as the third most bilingual town in Ontario, with about 69.6% of its inhabitants being fluent in English and French

Hawkesbury Eventing Centre
The Hawkesbury Eventing Centre was started in January 1999 to provide training facilities of the highest standard for event riders and their horses. Our goal is to provide an exclusive training environment for performance horses at all levels of competition, utilizing the magic of our property "Robrick Lodge", one of the most prestigious and picturesque Horse Studs in the Nepean/Hawkesbury Valley.

Robert Hartley Sports Complex
The facilities at the Complex include two NHL size rinks that can be easily transformed as a theatre or a trade show surface. The Robert Hartley Sports Complex also answers to all of the aquatic needs with a 25 metre (6 lanes) pool, one and three metre diving boards, a hot tub and sauna. A community hall with a seating capacity of 350 people and restaurant service is available in addition to many parks and playgrounds, family and sporting activities. Voyageur National Park
This National Park is located along the banks of the Ottawa River. The park is well known as a camper's park and has over 400 campsites for tents and campers. Given its location (approximately half way between Montreal and Ottawa) it gets crowded on weekends during the summer so reservations are recommended. The park has several beaches and offers excellent paddling for canoeists and sea kayakers. The Park’s name came from the fur traders or Voyageurs who had to portage their heavy loads as well as their canoes around the dangerous rapids.
