Benares Historic House Museum
Benares Historic House Museum, 1507 Clarkson Rd. N. just s. of S. Sheridan Way, is a stately 1857 Georgian-style house restored to the 1918 era situated on 2 hectares (6 acres) of picturesque grounds. Guided 45-minute tours give details about the more than 2,000 original artifacts and furnishings along with the background of the four generations of the Harris family who lived there. Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame

The Arboretum
The Arboretum is on the campus of the University of Guelph. From Gordon St. travel e. onto College Ave., s. on East Ring Rd., then e. on Arboretum Rd. Featured on 165 hectares (408 acres) are marked trails; thematic gardens, including English, Italian, Japanese and wildlife gardens; and more than 3,000 labeled trees and shrubs.
