The town of Cobourg Ontario can be discovered approximately 75 km east of Toronto. The town has an early history, being founded by United Empire Loyalists in 1798. It is the largest town in and the seat of Northumberland County. To the south Cobourg borders Lake Ontario, and to the north, east, and west, it is surrounded by Hamilton Township. Visitors don't want to miss downtown Cobourg. It is both vibrant and refreshing with its picturesque streetscapes, well-preserved architecture and cobblestone roads all surrounding historic Victoria Hall.
