This Provincial Park is situated amongst a variety of treed, open or shaded campsites. Activities for kids and adults are offered; a swimming pool, playbarn, 5 hiking trails, rollerblading path, Nature Centre and Heritage homestead can all be found on site. Ireland House at Oakridge Farm
The Ireland house was built in 1835 and has been restored to three different time periods (1840s, 1890s and 1920s). Rural Halton history is interpreted through this home where the furnishings of the house reflect these time periods and 90% are original to the home. Activities at the house include costumed interpretive tours, special events throughout year, workshops and lectures for members and general public offered. Self guided tours also available. Joseph Brant Museum
The museum is a reconstruction of the home of one of Canada's colourful heroes, Captain Joseph Brant (Thayendanegea). In 1798 the Mohawk Leader was granted 3,450 acres on Burlington Bay by King George III for his services to the Crown during the Seven Years War and the American Revolution. The museum was later built in 1937/38 and opened its doors in June, 1942 as a one-room exhibit gallery. Today the museum has more than 2,200 square feet of exhibit space and houses more than 10,000 artifacts. Call 905-634-3556 for more information.

Royal Botanical Gardens
The Royal Botanical Gardens are well known throughout the province of Ontario for their fabulous gardens. You will find five geographically separated garden areas; the RBG Centre is our headquarters and information centre. Along with a variety of visitor services, RBG Centre includes greenhouses, special collections and floral displays, both indoors and out. Streetcar & Electric Railway Museum
This unique museum was founded in 1953. The Halton County Radial Railway is Canada's first and Ontario's only operating electric railway museum. Situated at Stop 92 on the former right-of-way of the Toronto Suburban Railway, we offer the opportunity to enjoy a trip down memory lane with rides on a variety of restored street cars, radial and work car. Travel through 2 kilometers of scenic woodlands. The former Canadian National Railways Rockwood station has been re-located to the museum and today serves as the west-end station. View the various railway related items that are displayed inside; examine the cast iron stoves, and enjoy the smell and warmth of a wood fire when they are used to heat the station on cool days.
