Trans Canada Trail/Gordon Glaves Memorial Trail
This is the start of Brantford's trail system that began more than twenty years ago. Many of the first pathways were developed on the flat surfaces of the dikes built to protect the city from floods. Gradually, other public paths were connected to the dike trails and the network grew. In 1993, the entire pathway system was named after the late Gordon C. Glaves, a prominent community volunteer.
