The Commerce offices are located in a distinctive Log Cabin. The building is old, but the communication technology inside is quite up to date, allowing the Chamber to respond to email enquiries as well as researching travel data over the internet. Members and local residents are able to utilize reference materials and travel information about other communities and Provinces at the Log Cabin. Belleville Choral Society
The Belleville Choral Society is a non-denominational community choir that was established in 1959. They present several concerts each year, with varied programs of sacred and secular music. The choir also administers The Henk Binnema Memorial Scholarship which is awarded to successful applicant(s). Commodores Orchestra
The original band styled itself after the then famous Guy Lambardo Orchestra and followed that pattern until 1941 when the band added more members and changed its style to that which was heard in the big band era. The band operated its own summer dance spot "The Park Pavillion" in Belleville's Exhibition Park from 1942 - 1946 when the building was transformed into a year round night club called "Club Commodore". Glanmore National Historic Site of Canada
Glanmore is today the home of Hastings County Museum. It was designated a National Historic Site in 1971 because of the outstanding architectural features including the elaborate mansard roof, decorative dormer windows, ornate frescoed ceilings, sweeping suspended staircase and intricate woodwork. Take a tour of this beautifully restored historic site and view the travelling displays or participate in one of the workshops for children and adults. Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park
This Park is a natural curiosity as the Lake has a constant flow of clean, fresh water, with no apparent source just 60 metres above Lake Ontario. RCAF Museum
The RCAF Memorial Museum the long and proud history of Canada's Air Forces is preserved and publicized. The Museum displays aircraft, artifacts and equipment in addition to telling the story of the contributions made by our men and women in military aviation. This is the only Museum in Canada that depicts the complete history of Canadas Air Force rather than that of specific units and activities. The displays begin with the Canadian involvement in the Royal Flying Corps and the Royal Air Force in World War 1. Sandbanks Provincial Park
The giant sand dunes and golden beaches form two of the largest freshwater baymouth sandbars in the world here. The Park is found on the shores of Lake Ontario. Efforts to stabilize the shifting sands disturbed by farming have revived the distinctive dune plants such as bluets, butterfly weed and sand spurge.
